The Foxgloves are Alexandra Hofgartner and Abagail Nénuphar, and have a combined 15 years of professional performing experience. They are internationally renown for their high production values, breath-taking choreography, and unique flair for styling acts to suit a wide range of events.

Alexandra Hofgartner

Performing professionally since 2006, Alex has studied physical theatre, aerial and dance in Italy, France, South Africa and the U.K.

She works regularly within the Cabaret scene and is co-producer for The Ministry of Burlesque’s regular shows. She has also worked with a number of notable companies including Company Malakhi, Cirque Bijou and Dark Island Dance. She is co-founder of the circus theatre company Lifeboat Productions.

 

Abby Nénuphar

Abby has been working as a professional circus performer since 2006, specialising in aerial dance acrobatics. She first studied Contemporary Dance, then a BA in Visual Performance, and then went on to train in Aerial skills at Circomedia in Bristol. She has also just completed an MA Choreography at the University of Dance and Circus (DOCH) in Sweden. Performing highlights include working as a featured aerialist on harness and aerial hoop for the London Olympics Ceremonies, and in other large scale productions including The Invisible Circus (Bristol) and Arcadia Spectacular.
